Still alive

As it says on the tin, I'm still kicking! (Though barely, given the nasty cough I picked up this week. Visiting an ENT with my limited Korean was an adventure, but everyone was very helpful and, despite my national insurance not having kicked in yet, I got a speedy visit and truly absurd amounts of medicine for less than I would have paid in copays back in the US.)

My laptop was out of commission for a while because parts needed to be ordered, but I picked it up a few days ago and everything is shipshape. I'll be making several posts over the next week or so to catch up: one on orientation in Daejeon, one on the new job and apartment, and one on my Gwangju explorations so far. Thanks for bearing with me; I'll have lots to share soon!
